Following the murder of four policeman, foreign anarchists were trapped in a Whitechapel house from where they fought back firing at police and soldiers. Mr Winston Churchill, then the Home Secretary, is the left of the Scots Guards and police. The Cockney on the roof above him is more interested in the photographer. Après le meurtre de quatre policiers, des anarchistes étrangers ont été cernés dans une maison de Whitechapel d’où ils ont riposté en tirant sur la police et les soldats. M. Winston Churchill, alors ministre de l’Intérieur, est à la gauche des Gardes Ecossais et de la police. Le Cockney sur le toit est lui plus intéressé par le photographe. Les anarchistes finirent par périr dans les flammes du bâtiment en feu.
