Errico Malatesta, who was recently sentenced at the Old Bailey to three months imprisonment for criminal libel, is acknowledged by men of all grades of political opinion to be one of the greatest intellects in the anarchist movement. His whole life is a record of warfare on behalf of suffering humanity. Although every opportunity has been afforded him of fame and fortune, Malatesta has refused all offers and has supported himself by manual labour. All over the world wherever democrats foregather, Malatesta is regarded as the Knight without fear and without reproach, who fights incessantly the battle of the poor and oppressed.

Errico Malatesta, qui a été récemment condamné par la Cour d’Assises de Londres à un emprisonnement de trois mois pour diffamation criminelle, est reconnu par les hommes de toutes opinions politiques pour être un des intellectuels les plus en vue du mouvement anarchiste.
